The course involved a case-based module. Each case lasted one week. Work on the case took place at the beginning and end of the week. In the meantime, there were lectures and exercises. The exercises consisted of assignments and reflection questions, which were solved individually or in groups. Students had access to help with these assignments/questions at specific times, but they decided themselves when to work otherwise.
There was always a quiz at the end of the week. In addition, there could be supplementary quizzes with embedded videos as part of the exercises, but this was not always the case.
One of the exercise sessions, for example, concerned the upper digestive system. As part of this, students had to learn about the blood supply to the digestive system. This can be difficult to visualise without seeing it explained in 3D. Therefore, I found an existing video in English on the topic. Their task was to watch the video and identify the Danish terms. These terms were then entered in a Moodle quiz. The quiz was set up to accept all existing terms, including various abbreviations.
