The usage of digital project tools is a digital study activity. There are different types of relevant project tools and on this page, you will find tools concerning collaboration, file-sharing, text editing and project management. By having all the information regarding these aspects of the project writing process collected in one place where everyone has access to it, you secure a better synergy between the participants as well as a joint overview. Ideally the usage of this secures that all the work that has been done is of use and goal oriented while also securing that miscommunication and redundant work is avoided. Therefor it is advantageous for your students to be introduced to these tools that make their project work easier. 

The purpose of study activities that concerns project tools is to qualify and streamline project and group work and provide the students with the best possible opportunity to gain academic knowledge and create a good framework for their learning process, that follows the principles of PBL.

When you consider which Learning Technology you want to use, you have to make sure that both you and your students have downloaded it and have access to it.

Pedagogical considerations

Consider how the introduction of the project writing tool will contribute to the making of the framework of the learning process in a PBL orientated manner.
Consider if you want to present you students with all the project writing tools or if you prefer a specific one.
Reflect on which skills the students will achieve through the study activity and how the activity will support the learning goals.
