Project- and group work

On this page you can find inspiration and guidance for various digital study activities you can use in your teaching when working with project and group work.

As an educator or supervisor, it can be hard to find inspiration concerning the students' project- and group work. Therefor we have at CDUL, created this page for educators and supervisors who are in the process of planning and coordinating project work. When you as an educator or supervisor have to facilitate the students group work, you can choose to make an ad hoc established group, for individual study activities, or facilitate the group work for the students as PBL groups who work with long term project work. No matter the duration of the group work it is central to the learning process, that the students interact with one another and work toward a common goal or product, just as it is presented in the principles of PBL. Through group work the student becomes responsible for the learning that occurs within the group and obtains abilities to critically evaluate the quality of their own contribution and knowledge in regard to the problem at hand.

On this page you can also read more about the different Learning Technologies CDUL provides which can facilitate project and group work

You can also read this article which zooms in on the formation of groups, which can prove to be a difficult process.
